The POT OF GOLD is one of Golfocus tournaments, aiming at restaurants and bars, along with their clients and suppliers to participate in a unique annual social venue.
We intend to know which restaurant/bar has the best and most entertaining golfers in the Algarve.

Each competition is played in the format of match-play 2 balls-better ball. The 8 players of each team will play in pairs, and will
score the final results of the 18 holes in each match. The winning pair is the one that wins the most holes, a tie is when both pairs win the same number of holes and the losing pair is the one that wins the less number of holes.
From the total of the 4 pairs, the winning team accumulates 3 points, the tying teams accumulate 1 point and the losing team accumulates 0 points.

Cinco equipas participantes com oito elementos cada. Cinco torneios a disputar o título de campeão do Campeonato da Liga Golflisboa. Cada torneio
será efectuado em diferentes campos de golfe na região de Lisboa. Cada equipa jogará com todas as outras equipas durante o ano, em campos de golfe
diferentes:

· Two teams of forty players, each representing either Portugal or Spain and the other representing either the UK or Ireland.
· The Forty players from each team will be identified with colours, patterns, or insignias that will differ from the other team and opposing players.
· Everyone can participate regardless of their age, gender, nationality or place of residence.
· All participants agree to obey the rules and procedures established by the R&A.
· All participants agree to obey the local rules and procedures established by each golf course where each of the games take place.
· Each team will designate a Captain, who will be responsible for all of the teams activities. Each Captain will take part in the organization advising committee.

Eight participating teams of eight players each. Three competitions to dispute the Golfalgarve League Cup. Each team will play against another team which will be decided through a draw as designated by the captains of all of the teams. Each competition will be played in three different golf courses in Algarve.
Each winning team will advance to the next phase of the tournament. The defeated teams do not advance to the next phase. On the first day of competition, eight teams will play. On the second day of competition, four teams will play. On the third day of the competition, two teams will play to dispute the Cup. The defeated teams will play a friendly match on the second and third days of competition.
The Cup will given to the winning team at the final play. Other prizes will be given based on sponsorship and the criteria will be established by such sponsors.

Quinta do Lago North - September 26
   (with lunch and prize giving at Monte da Quinta Suites)

Two teams of eight players from the Algarve will play against two teams of eight players from Andalucia.
The two teams representing the Algarve Golf League will be constituted by the winners of the Algarve Golf League Championship and by the winners of
the Algarve Golf League Cup. In case the winner of both tournaments (Cup and Championship) is the same, the team standing in second in the Championship
will qualify to play in this tournament.
Two competitions will take place in this tournament, one in the Algarve and another in Andalucia.
The Captain in this tournament will be designated from being the winner of the Algarve Golf League Championship and the Vice-Captain will be designated
from being the winner of the Algarve Golf League Cup. In case the winners of both tournaments is the same, the Captain of the second place
standing in the Algarve Golf League Championship will be chosen as the Vice-Captain.
